Before 1950

 

1878   W. STOLL Maschinenfabrik GmbH is founded 
           in Luckenwalde at Berlin.

 

1906   Between 1906 and 1945 W. STOLL Maschinenfabrik GmbH
           is situated in Torgau at the Elbe.

 
           After the second World War W. STOLL Maschinenfabrik GmbH 
           is rebuilt in Lengede.

1950s

 

1951   Engineer Jens Freudendahl establishes JF-Fabriken - J. Freudendahl A/S

           in Sønderborg, Denmark.

 

1951   JF introduces the self-binder. 200 self-binders are manufactured and 
           delivered for the harvest season 1951.

 

1954   Jens Freudendahl ís awarded the Diploma of The National Association 
           for Danish Enterprise.

 

1955   JF introduces a front-mounted self-binder.

 

1957   JF introduces the Special Trailer AV 2.

 

1957   JF-Landmaschinen GmbH in Germany is established. Sales company 
           responsible for sales in West Germany except Schleswig-Holstein.

 

1959   JF-Iberica S. A. in Spain is established. Sales and production company 
           responsible for sales in Spain. Factory in Alcala is built.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
Combined Rake and Tedder HSR

1960s

 

1960   JF introduces the world's first side-mounted forage harvester.

 

1960   JF introduces the Combined Rake and Tedder HSR.

 

1960   JF introduces the first Flail Mower SL 150.

 

1961   JF-Fabriken is converted into a limited company under the name 
           JF-Fabriken - J. Freudendahl A/S.

 

1961   JF introduces the Combine Harvester MS 5.

 

1962   JF introduces the Beet Loader RL which is mounted on an L-frame

           hoop of a forage harvester.

 

1963   JF-Farm Machines R.I. Ltd. in Ireland is established. Sales and

           production company responsible for sales in Ireland.

 

1964   Machienes Agricoles JF Landbouwmachines N.V. in Belgium is

           established. Sales company responsible for sales in Belgium

           and Luxemburg.

 

1965   1st stage of the factory in Ulkebøl, Denmark, is opened.

 

1965   JF is awarded a silver medal at The Royal Dublin Spring Show for JF-
           system mechanization.

 

1966   JF-Fabriken receives a visit from HM King Frederik IX.

 

1968   After many years of development work, JF introduces the Mower
           CM 150.

 

1969   JF-Farm Machines (Manufacturing) Ltd. Ireland starts the

           manufacturing of JF machines.

 

1969   Jens Freudendahl receives the Max-Eyth-Gedenkmünze for his

1970s

 

1970   JF introduces the Straw Chopper SH. 

 

1972   The parent company Freudendahl Invest A/S is established.

 

1972   JF-Farm Machines Ltd. in England is established. Sales and production
           company responsible for sales in England, Scotland and Wales.

 

1972   JF introduces the Precision Chopper FS80 (later renamed FC80).

 

1972   JF introduces the Maize Chopper MH.

 

1972   JF introduces the Bale Thrower BK.

 

1972   JF introduces the first Mower Conditioner GC 210.

 

1972   JF introduces the trailer range ST as supplement to the AV

           trailer range.

 

1973   JF introduces the Combined Rake CR.

 

1973   JF receives medal for Danish Export Enterprise by HRH Prince Henrik

 

1975   JF introduces the Cultivation Harrow KH in Sweden.

 

1976   JF introduces plant for chemical treatment of straw SP 2000 based

          on cooperation with Biotechnological Institute.

  

1979   JF introduces Tipping Wagon TV 45 in Denmark which was followed by 
           TV 70 the year after.

1980s

 

1980   JF introduces the Trailed Mower CMT 245. 

 

1981   JF-Fabriken introduces the straw-fired burner CB 50. The only

           straw-fired burner on the market with subburner.

 

1984   Jens Freudendahl receives the M-prize, established by The Society

           of Danish Engineers (mechanical engineers' group) and the engineers'

           technical council.

 

1985   JF introduces the Chop Forage Wagon ES25 and ES35 in cooperation 
           with Strautmann.

 

1985   JF introduces the Rakes RV and RS based on components from 
           Wilhelm Stoll Maschinenfabrik GmbH in Germany.

 

1985   JF introduces the Disc Mower SB.

 

1985   Jan Freudendahl becomes managing director after his father,
           Jens Freudendahl.

 

1987   Jens Freudendahl decides to retire. Jørn Freudendahl takes up his
           position.

 

1987   JF introduces the world's first hydrostatically driven Disc Mower
           GMS 3200 Hydro Flex.
