Turbine type straw blowers and silage feeders were developed in France inthe 1980 ’s and
Belair were one of thevery first companies to
produce this now firmly established system for
bedding and feeding machinery. Thecompany
has specialised in this fieldfor over 25 years
and has won a reputation both as an
innovator -and as a manufacturer of strongly
engine-ered,well-specified machines. Many of
the improvements seen in this sector
over the last decade have come from Belair.
For example, they were the first to develop t
he top mounted swivel chute enabling
effective straw blowing use in buildings
with no through passage.
For 2008, we have extended the range to
introduce 4 new smaller sized shredders.
The Brick 2008 comes as a DH version for
straw use only and as a DE version for
straw/silage use. Both model ranges are
available as fully mounted or trailed units.
The fully mounted Brick 2008DE
straw/silage model has been developed
to meet the growing demand for a shredder
that can operate in difficult buildings where
a lot of reversing is encountered, but a large tractor is required to balance the machine
when loaded with a silage bale.
A top mounted chute is standard and
depending upon model chosen, is either
fixed (an electrically controlled flap is
standard) or swivelling full machine
electric controls are part of this option).
The new models are ideally suited to
those farmers who require a more
compact and easy to handle machine.
For the larger enterprise, the 4.5m³
and 7.0m³Brick 2048/2078 remains fully available for the 2009 season.
Ask your local dealer for a demonstration
and we’ll prove how good these machines really are!
Roots may also be fed and straw fed or
blown for bedding down cattle. A
combination of big diameter shredding
rotor and a contoured flywheel provides a solution which quickly feeds both round
and big rectangular bales (chopped or
un-chopped) reliably and effectively.
