PE Conditioner

Strong and flexible

The JF PE-finger conditioner was the result of a great deal of research, where both  function and durability have been tested thoroughly in the field. Therefore, the JF PE-conditiner is known for its efficiency as well as its strength. The many strong PE-conditioning fingers make the JF PE-conditioner extremely efficient. The result is quicker drying and better feed quality. Conditioning treatment is quickly adjusted by means of a "tool free" lever.

Long life - low maintenance costs

The JF PE finger conditioners are made of Polyethylene, a strong yet flexible material which allows the fingers to bend in any direction without damage. An average life of 15 years proves the strength of the PE finger. The risk of losing a PE finger is remote, if it happens no damage is caused. Lose a steel finger and a forager can suffer substantial damage, while splinters of metal may present a major risk to livestock.

Increased drying speed

Trials at the Swedish Institue of Agricultural Engieering show that the drying time is reduced by some 40 per cent when using the JF PE-conditioning system. Adjustment is necessary to achieve optimum conditioning depending on crop and forward speed. The PE system allows quick and easy adjustment of both the rotor speed and the distance between the conditioning plate and the rotor. In general the slower the speed and the smaller the distance, the greater the conditioning.
