Cutter bar with perfectly smooth underside is introduced on new generation of rear-mounted mowers
The JF-STOLL cutter bar with perfectly smooth underside is now introduced on the new generation of SB machines, which is JF-STOLL’s range of light, rear-mounted plain mowers.
The new generation of SB mowers is thereby equipped with the technology which was originally developed for JF-STOLL’s larger mowers and triple-mower combinations of up to 12 metres. The smooth underside of the cutter bar protects the plant “crown” to ensure quick regrowth. The smooth underside is obtained by means of the guide shoes that cover the whole width and provide maximum protection of the underside of the cutter bar.
Furthermore, the JF-STOLL cutter bar design allows the setting of a low cutting angle. Thereby it is possible to obtain a low and even stubble. At the same time the crop flow is optimised and the result is a light and airy swath.
The rear mounted SB mower is equipped with the Easy Lift system which raises the machine from the ground during headland turns - without using the link arms. This means that you avoid vibrations and wear of the PTO shaft and the tractor. You also minimise the risk of deviation of the PTO shaft.
The new generation of SB mowers will be available in workings widths of 2 m (SB 2005), 2.4 m (SB 2405) and 2.8 m (SB 2805).
